What's with Pilarcitos refusing to give district champions their discounts? That's not right... racers worked hard to earn that championship (and paid Pilarcitos an entry fee!) and they should be able to reap the rewards. Tom said it's because his costs are high for the event (renting porta-potties and such). But there are only about 10 district champions out of how many hundreds that raced yesterday? Come on Tom... especially after the recent GG park debacle on this forum, you can't afford anymore ill-will.
I'm curious about brake setup on the AJM machine. They look like mini V's. I doubt AJM would be running some Tekro equipment on such a fine machine, but is it true? Or are they a new Specialized prototype brake destined to replace the Canti?
